At the end of class, students created their own imaginary "endemic" species, then classified them. The students are learning about endemism in preparation for their trip to Santa Cruz Island. Santa Cruz Island has 12 endemic species (organisms that live nowhere else on earth).
A second home school class learned about scientists throughout history. Later they will re-create some of the experiments performed by some of these scientists!
